This will support pigment retention, reduce swelling, and ensure your safety during the procedure.

📅 1–2 Weeks Before Your Appointment

• Avoid lash growth serums, as these can increase sensitivity and cause pigment retention issues.
• Discontinue active skincare (retinol, AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C, prescription creams) around the eyes.
• No lash lifts, lash tints, or eyelash extensions — these must be removed at least 1 week prior.
• Avoid tanning, sunburn, or any irritation around the eye area.
• Do not have Botox, dermal fillers, or injectables near the eye area for at least 2 weeks before treatment.
• Advise us if you are taking blood thinners, antibiotics, or medications that affect healing.

🧴 3–5 Days Before Treatment

• Hydrate your skin by drinking water and using a gentle, fragrance-free eye cream if needed.
• Avoid harsh treatments such as peels, microdermabrasion, or microneedling around the eye area.
• Check for any eye infections, styes, or conjunctivitis — treatment will need to be rescheduled until fully healed.

📍 On the Day of Your Appointment

• Arrive with clean skin — no eye makeup, mascara, lash extensions, creams, or SPF on the eye area.
• Avoid caffeine and alcohol, as these can increase sensitivity and swelling.
• Remove contact lenses before your appointment. Bring glasses if you need them, as lenses cannot be worn during or immediately after the procedure.
• Bring your numbing cream (ordered from Tugun Compounding Pharmacy). This will be self-applied in-studio before your procedure begins.

• Eyeliner tattooing is not suitable during pregnancy. If breastfeeding, please consult us beforehand.
• Healing usually takes 5–7 days, with some swelling for the first 24–48 hours.

• From day two, apply a very thin layer of SOS+ Balm morning and night using a cotton tip to avoid cross-contamination.
• Do not rub, scratch, or pick at the treated area. Let any flaking or peeling occur naturally.
• Avoid wearing mascara, eyeliner, or any eye makeup until healing is complete.
• Avoid heavy sweating, swimming, spas, and saunas until the skin has fully healed.
• Do not use lash curlers, lash lifts, or lash tints during the healing period.
• Avoid contact lenses during the first 24–48 hours after treatment — wear glasses if needed.

• Avoid direct sun exposure until fully healed.
• Once healed, apply SPF daily around the eye area to protect pigment from fading.
• Wear sunglasses outdoors for extra protection during healing.

You may NOT be eligible for eyeliner tattooing if you have or are currently experiencing:

• Active eye infections, conjunctivitis (pink eye), or styes
• Uncontrolled diabetes or impaired wound healing
• Blood clotting disorders or taking blood thinning medications
• History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
• Autoimmune skin or eye conditions such as lupus, psoriasis, eczema, or vitiligo near the eye area
• Glaucoma or severe dry eye syndrome
• Recent eye surgery or laser vision correction (must wait at least 6 months)
• Severe allergies to pigments, lidocaine, or epinephrine
• Use of Roaccutane or isotretinoin in the past 6–12 months
• Skin cancer, suspicious lesions, or undiagnosed growths around the eye area (requires clearance)
• Pregnancy — cosmetic tattooing is not performed while pregnant
• Under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs on the day of treatment
