The Beginning

I grew up in Leeton, NSW, on a small hobby farm with my dad and siblings. As a tomboy at heart, I wasn’t afraid to get my hands dirty—or cut my own hair, as captured in this childhood photo! It’s safe to say my beauty journey has been onward and upward ever since.

At just 16 years old, I decided to take a leap into the beauty industry by enrolling at TAFE to study beauty therapy. My original goal? To learn how to be a lady! What I discovered instead was a deep passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.

My career began in a salon under the mentorship of an inspiring woman named Naomi, who left a lasting impact on me. Naomi’s compassion, precision, and commitment to excellence became the foundation of how I approach every treatment I perform today. Her teachings instilled in me a dedication to delivering high standards of care and service—values that continue to shape me as a therapist and as a professional.

The Middle

Life took an unexpected turn, requiring me to relocate and start fresh. I worked in several salons as a junior therapist and receptionist, but on my wage, I couldn’t afford to upskill, and I knew I needed a change. That’s when I made the bold decision to enlist in the Australian Army.

During my time in the ADF, I initially trained as a chef before transitioning into administration later in my career. I served proudly for 14 years, but my passion for beauty therapy never faded.

Despite the challenges of military life, I was determined to stay connected to the beauty industry. I juggled upskilling, studying, and running a home studio business—often between bush trips, promotion courses, and even a deployment to Afghanistan. It was a whirlwind period of yin and yang, balancing two very different worlds.

After returning from Afghanistan, I realized it was time to fully embrace my dreams. I left the military to dedicate myself entirely to building my home studio business and pursuing my passion for beauty and skincare.

While my career journey took an unexpected path, I will always be proud of my military service and eternally grateful for the most important gift it brought me—meeting the love of my life, Greg.

The Present

I’m fortunate to operate a peaceful studio on my property, offering a tranquil retreat for both myself and my clients. When creating my business, I couldn’t find a skincare range that met my standards—Australian-made, professional, user-friendly, and affordable. So, I partnered with an Australian pharmaceutical company to create the Pro-Age Skincare Range, reflecting my commitment to quality and innovation.

What I love most is building relationships with my clients and helping them navigate skincare and well-being. I’ve invested in AI skin analysis technology to provide highly detailed assessments and personalized treatments, ensuring clients have the best possible results.

A core part of my life is balancing work and family. Abigail and William are my priority, and I strive to be present for their upbringing while dedicating time to my business during school hours.

The Future

After facing challenges with my own wellness and embarking on an incredible healing journey, I decided to expand my expertise by studying holistic wellness coaching. During this course, I realized that the Pro-Age concept was the ultimate key to aging well. It’s not just about skincare; it’s about embracing a holistic approach that blends coaching, wellness, and beauty. My mission is to empower my clients to “Age Like a Pro,” helping them feel confident and beautiful inside and out.

I’m continually striving to enhance my business, ensuring it meets the needs of my clients while fostering growth and innovation. Feedback is at the heart of this journey. Positive feedback inspires me to excel, while constructive feedback challenges me to evolve.
